5 Keys To Creating Wealth of Mind, Body, and Spirit
Of all the messages I get emailed, it's the chain letters that really twist my chain. They come in every configuration and are designed to spur us into action. They usually have a religious bent but can also be mystical or political.
They can make you feel guilty for not having the, so called, "faith" to pass them on to everyone in your address book.
Oftentimes they try to shame you into sending them on by alluding that you don't care about (insert cause)people, animals, the earth, the ozone, disease, mold, etc, etc.
I usually delete them or just ignore em.
Once in a while though, they have a great message and simply must be shared. Just not to my address book.
What follows is five simple stories that convey important lessons if you want to attract true wealth.
It's also very timely.
I don't know who the author is but, I will give him or her due recognition when I find out.
Five (5) lessons to make you think about the way we treat people.
1 - First Important Lesson - Cleaning Lady.
During my second month of college, our professor
gave us a pop quiz. I was a conscientious student
and had breezed through the questions until I read
the last one:
'What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?'
Surely this was some kind of joke. I had seen the
cleaning woman several times. She was tall,
dark-haired and in her 50s, but how would I know her name?
I handed in my paper, leaving the last question
blank. Just before class ended, one student asked if
the last question would count toward our quiz grade.
'Absolutely,' said the professor. 'In your careers,
you will meet many people. All are significant. They
deserve your attention and care, even if all you do
is smile and say 'hello.'
I've never forgotten that lesson. I also learned her
name was Dorothy.
