To all you newbies out there who have decided to make Internet Marketing your wealth engine, I want to give you all a little direction as you ply the murky waters of IM.
I started out credit card blazing knowing that there was no way that I could fail. I mean, everyone was making a killing on the web.
Every email that entered my in box told of imminent riches as long as I bought their product.
And buy I did.
Ya, I started out small, but before you knew it, (or I knew it)I was getting bolder and more confident whipping out my card and charging myself into poverty.
I know I had to say no, but I was like a confirmed alcoholic who just couldn't resist the next big thing.
Now, I'm no expert, and I have a lot to learn about marketing products on the web, but I always thought of myself as a half way intelligent fellow who new a trap when he saw it. But, time after time I was seduced into believing that Mike and Joel and X and E had my best interests at heart. Yea, and oxycodone is all you need for a headache too.
Well, there is some good that's come of all of this.
For one thing, It's a great education. I mean, you get to see all of these super marketers greatest tricks and techniques.
Everything they do is designed to sell you.
And, they've tested and tweaked and measured and sifted to present you with the most persuasive copy ever devised to sell you online. I mean, this stuff really works.
Well, I'm not going to sell you in this post. I'm just venting for the most part and trying to help you understand the ways of the web.
I'm looking at a new program and when I get a better handle on it I'll let you all know what it is. In the meantime, don't stop searching for that wealth discovery of your own.
